Al Quran : Agar tum sadqa (khairaat)
zahir kar ke do to bhi achchi baat hai aur agar usko chupa kar do aur
faqeeroon ko pahucha do to tumahre haq mein wo behtar hai aur ALLAH
tumahre kuch gunah dur kar dega aur ALLAH tumahre kamon ko khoob khabar
rakhne wala hai
Al Quran , Surah Baqara (2) , Verse 271

If you disclose your Sadaqat (alms-giving), it is well; but if you
conceal them and give them to the poor, that is better for you. (Allah)
will expiate you some of your sins. And Allah is Well-Acquainted with
what you do.
